Pensive Pennings...

After a while, some of you are going to catch on to my affinity for alliteration (like the use of p's in the title) and say something like, "Isn't she positively peculiar?"  I chose the word "pensive," meaning "involved in deep thought," because I think it sounds snappier and smarter alongside "pennings."  One of the best parts about being a writer is wielding both a respectful restraint for my written and spoken language--English--as well as a particularly playful penchant (p's again) for creating new words in syntax and dialect.  This page is not about linguistics, per se, but, rather, a fun discourse in how (and why) certain authors present popular, digestible, and meaningful content in the most unusual and unconventional ways.
